SWIM-A-THON 2026 | FINAL COUNTDOWN!
Our annual Swim-a-Thon fundraising period is in the final stretch! Thank you everyone who has participated in helping us reach our fundraising goal of $20,000 by May 31, 2026.
But, we aren't done yet! We need your help to reach our goal by the deadline. If every swimmer donates just $30.00, we'll make it together.
What is the Swim-a-Thon?
Swim-A-Thon is an in-pool fundraiser in which swimmers complete a set distance (1.5 KM – Trojan Academy; 3.0 KM – Junior Program; 5 KM – Senior Program). In exchange for taking on this challenge, participants ask friends, family, and supporters to make a donation to help us reach our fundraising goal. All donations are collected online through a personalized fundraising page hosted by Swimming Canada.
Why Participate?
- Prize Incentives: We have a range of prizes to be won this year! Water bottles, LYsport Gift cards, a Pizza Party, Reduced Volunteer Requirements for next season, and more!
Support the Team: Your participation helps us support team travel costs, club events, equipment needs, and Academy development. Every dollar raised helps strengthen our program and enhance the experience for all swimmers.
Impact: Thanks to everyone's efforts last year, we raised a total of $18,846 and we've seen the impact! These funds have allowed us to purchase items including whiteboards, fins for Academy swimmers, heart rate monitors, medicine balls, iPads, a TV, an underwater camera (arriving Spring 2026), additional mental performance sessions (Spring/Summer 2026), and contributed toward team travel costs.

To help support you in your fundraising journey, we have created promotional materials! The link included on the promotional material directs sponsors to the HTAC Swim-a-Thon page, where they can search swimmers up by name and access their personal fundraising pages. Please note that our HTAC page is updated manually, and may take up to 2 business days to reflect changes.
Swim-a-Thon Event:
Our Swim-a-Thon event is set to take place on Thursday June 04 at Centennial. Additional details have been circulated by email to all members. All afternoon practices have been cancelled and the whole team will come together to swim regardless of the amount of funds earned. Prizes will be distributed at the conclusion of the event.
